Text and Context is a peer reviewed biannual for academic research in education published by our college. The objective is to encourage research in various aspects of education with focus on social contexts, cultural discourses and dynamics of curriculum transaction at all levels. Preference is given to contributions that show original viewpoints regarding the instructional process in the Asiatic educational scenario.
PTM College of Education had a beginning in 2006 with five Optional Subjects- English, Malayalam, Physical Science, Natural Science, and Mathematics, under Kerala University. The college gained recognition from NCTE in the same year itself. The very next year two more Optional Subjects – Social Science and Commerce were also sanctioned.
